Airfare Discounts
We have negotiated discounted fares on WestJet for travel to and from the conference in Vancouver. WestJet is offering a 10% discount off their best available regular fare at the time of booking (excluding web and promotional fares). Discounted rates are available for travel up to three (3) days prior and three (3) days after the conference. For travel outside of these dates, Oct 17-26, 2010, WestJet will offer the best available date at the time of booking.
To take advantage of this discount, attendees will need to submit their travel arrangement by contacting the WestJet Convention line. Refer to instructions below.

Passport Requirements
Canadian law requires that all persons entering Canada carry both proof of citizenship and proof of identity. A valid U.S. passport, passport card or NEXUS card satisfies these requirements for U.S. citizens. Upon return to the United States from Canada, all U.S. citizens are required to present a valid U.S. passport to enter or re-enter the United States.
Transportation
Shuttle to the Hyatt Regency Vancouver
To / From Vancouver International Airport:
Canada Line: The Canada Line connects Vancouver International Airport to Downtown Vancouver in under 30 minutes. Cost is $3.75 for adults and $2.50 for children each way. The Hyatt Regency Vancouver is located at the Burrard Street station and will require a transfer at either Granville Station or Waterfront Station. Please visit canadaline.ca for more information.
Taxi: Taxis and wheelchair-accessible vans are available at the airport 24 hours a day. Taxi queue areas are located at both the domestic and international arrivals terminals. Approximate cost to the Hyatt: $35.00 CAD.
Around the City:
Skytrain: This fast and effective transportation system will get you to your destination quickly and easily. The Burrard Station is located across the street from Hyatt Regency. Single trip and day passes are available.

Hyatt Regency Vancouver offers the following parking options for our guests:
- Valet parking—Cost: $38.00/CAD per day plus taxes
- Self parking—Cost: $28.00/CAD per day plus taxes
Directions to the Hyatt Regency Vancouver
From Vancouver International Airport (10miles/16 kms):
- Take Grant McConnachie Way over the Arthur Lang Bridge.
- Exit Granville Street; proceed north (about 10 km).
- Turn left at 16th Avenue.
- Go down two blocks and turn right on to Burrard Street.
- Proceed on Burrard and over Burrard Street Bridge to Georgia Street (10 blks).
- Hyatt Regency Vancouver is on your left.
From eastern suburbs:
- Exit Highway 1 at 1st Avenue.
- Hotel is approximately 6 miles/10kms from exit.
- Follow 1st Avenue which at Clark Drive turns into Terminal Avenue.
- Follow Terminal Avenue and turn right on to Main Street.
- Stay on Main Street for 3 blocks and follow signs to downtown Vancouver...exit left on to Dunsmuir Viaduct.
- Follow Dunsmuir past G.M. Place stadium; stay on Dunsmuir for approximately 10 blocks and then turn left on to Burrard Street.
- Hotel entrance is one block up on the right.
